THE 19TH EDITION OF GROOVE BRNO WILL PLAY THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE YEAR.
After a record-breaking and highly successful edition last year, Groove Brno is preparing a 2026 program packed with premieres, returns to iconic Brno clubs and concert halls, and a generous dose of funk and soul spread across the entire year.
This means dozens of concerts, a diverse range of funk and soul styles, the return of favorite projects, as well as brand-new premieres. At the same time, this year’s edition may also reach beyond these genres, featuring artists who bring groove into rock-influenced music or R&B.
In previous years, Groove Brno has hosted numerous stars of the international music scene — including the world-renowned Tower of Power, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Incognito; the breathtaking Cory Henry; the cult favorites Fun Lovin’ Criminals; Swedish stars Dirty Loops; one of the world’s best bassists Ida Nielsen; singer and multi-instrumentalist and former vocalist of Michael Jackson, Judith Hill; Postmodern Jukebox; Brooklyn Funk Essentials; German collective Jazzanova; Icelandic legends Mezzoforte; bass legend Victor Wooten; British soul king Omar Lyefook; Danish funk trombonist Nils Landgren; Grammy-winning vocalist Kurt Elling; James Brown’s longtime soloist Maceo Parker; the iconic 90s project Freak Power; as well as Ghost-Note, Electro Deluxe, Philip Lassiter, the “otherworldly” MonoNeon, groove masters Lettuce, Spyro Gyra, and many, many more.
Each year, however, we also give space to emerging talents and create special projects specifically for our festival.
A new feature this year is the festival pass, which guarantees entry to all concerts throughout the entire festival year.
