On July 20, Cory Wong will present his latest album Power Station!
He will be supported by an international line-up of Los Angeles singer-songwriter Judith Hill and the Brno B-Side Band!
From his beginnings on TV programs like The Voice to jamming with Prince’s rhythm section, where he met the members of Vulfpeck, to collaborations with international artists, Cory Wong’s name has gradually gained momentum. He has been performing with Vulfpeck, who became one of the first bands in the world to sell out a show at Madison Square Garden in New York, since 2016.
Last year’s solo album from the American guitarist, Power Station, captivates not only with its unstoppable rhythms and distinctive dynamics but also with star guests such as sixteen-time Grammy-winning banjoist Béla Fleck and winner of five Golden Gramophones and twelve Grammy nominations, bassist Victor Wooten!
Wong’s trajectory of musical collaborations also includes the aforementioned Swedish Dirty Loops, with whom he co-produced and played guitar on the 2021 album Turbo.
