Mörk is a band made up of four members who met while studying jazz and quickly found their way into the heart of Budapest’s underground music scene. Their path to stardom was paved through the living rooms, climbing halls and Chinese teahouses where they started playing. Soon they were on the stages of prestigious clubs and festivals such as A38 Ship, Aquarium Club and Sziget. They have also shown their skills at international showcase festivals including Eurosonic Noorderslag and Reeperbahn Festival.
Although they have darkness in their name, their psychedelic soul tends to caress the soul and reveal the unexpected beauty that can be found in this unpleasant corner of our psyche. In the spring of 2019, Mörk released the second half of their sophomore album, “The Death and Resurrection of Mörk,” which was accompanied by a sold-out tour and festival appearances across Europe.
