Spanish bassist Vincen García is one of the most exciting names on today’s European fusion and funk scene. His concerts are a celebration of rhythm, groove, and musical virtuosity that captivates audiences across continents. Thanks to Groove Brno, he will now perform in Prague for the very first time.
García represents a new generation of musicians. With hundreds of thousands of followers across social media, millions of video views, and performances at major international festivals including Montreux Jazz Festival, North Sea Jazz Festival, and Pori Jazz Festival, his rise has been nothing short of remarkable.
Yet his technical brilliance is never about showing off. His ability to combine virtuosity with natural musicality, an exceptional sense of groove, and a powerful connection with audiences has made him one of the most talked-about artists on today’s European music scene. Blending funk, jazz, fusion, R&B, and contemporary influences, García creates a sound that is both fresh and unmistakably his own.
His 2023 debut album Ventura opened doors to international stages and established him as one of Europe’s most exciting instrumentalists. Czech audiences may also know him through his connection with American guitarist Cory Wong. During Groove Brno Open Air 2025, García made a surprise appearance and joined Wong for an impromptu jam session that became one of the festival’s most memorable moments.
He returned to Groove Brno in March 2026 for a headline club show that drew extraordinary interest and confirmed that his popularity in the Czech Republic is growing just as rapidly as it is across Europe.
Following these two standout appearances, another milestone awaits. Vincen García is coming to Prague for the very first time, and Lucerna Music Bar will offer a rare opportunity to experience up close one of the most compelling figures on today’s European groove and fusion scene.
